FELICITATION FOR MAJOR GENERAL PAJ PEIRIS ndu

The Corps of Signals conducted a charming ceremony on 23 October 2020 at the Signals Regimental Centre premises to appreciate newly promoted Major General PAJ Peiris ndu adhering to all health regulations on COVID 19.

Starting the day’s programme, Signal Regimental Centre Commandant Colonel GGA Gunasekara USP welcomed Major General PAJ Peiris ndu at the main entrance of the Regimental Centre where formal procedures commenced as troops awarded a Guard Turnout. Then he paid floral tribute before the Signals Monument in memory of fallen war heroes of the Corps of Signals. Afterward, he was awarded with an effusive Guard of Honour.

Then Major General PAJ Peiris ndu grace with his presence at the group photograph with Signal Officers presented at the Officers' Mess and day’s proceedings ended up with the planting of a Naa sapling near the main entrance of the Regimental Centre.
