FAREWELL OF THE PRESIDENT OF SIGNALS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH

Vice President together with members of Signals Seva Vanitha Branch appreciated the precious service of the outgoing President, Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel during the farewell ceremony hosted at the Signals Officers\' Mess, Panagoda on 22nd April 2017. Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel, the outgoing Chairperson of Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, rendered a distinguished service during her tenure as a member as well as the Chairperson purely for the betterment of both Officers and Other Ranks of the Corps of Signals. Mrs Arosha Wijesinghe, the Vice President welcomed Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel offering a posy of blooming flowers at the beginning of the ceremony. The event progressed with the amusement of the Engineer Service Regiment’s Beat Group and the Cultural Troupe that added extra glamour to the whole function. At the end, on behalf of all members of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Keshini Hettiarachchi, the Secretary delivered the Farewell Speech and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing Chairperson for the invaluable service that she rendered during her tenure while extending best wishes for her all future endeavours. On the invitation of the Secretary, Vice President Mrs Arosha Wijesinghe presented the farewell gift as a gesture of appreciation from the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch. Concluding the ceremony, Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel expressively marked her gratefulness to the Vice President and all members for enormously assisting during her tenure and also organizing an alluring farewell on her departure. A large number of Signals Ladies graced the occasion.
