Under the patronage of Major General KAWS Ratnayake ndu, the Chief Signal Officer of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and with his invitation, well reputed scholar Prof. Suranga Nanayakkara from National University of Singapore participated as the guest speaker, for a special Diners’ Club organized by Sri Lanka Signals Corps at Regimental Officers’ Mess, Panagoda at 1900 hrs onwards on 04 April 2023.
Prof. Suranga Nanayakkara addressed the audience by delivering an educative and an interactive speech on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Chat GPT’. Session was very successful with knowledge sharing question and answering session and enthusiastic participation of 95 Signal Officers, including number of Senior Officers and Officers who are presently serving within the Corps of Signals as well as those who are on Extra Regimental Employments.
At the end of the session, The Chief Signal Officer and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals appreciated the altruistic contribution of the resource person and presented him a plaque and a Coffee Table Book of the Corps of Signals as a token of gesture to mark the soundness of the event.
