COLONEL COMMANDANT\'S VISIT TO 4 SLSC

The official visit of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Major General K R P Rowel RWP USP ndu psc to the 4 Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps took place on 01 October 2015. The Commanding Officer, 4 SLSC Lt Col S M Atukorala psc warmly welcomed the Colonel Commandant and offered a ceremonial guard turnout. There after the Colonel Commandant planted a \"Mango Tree\" at the unit premises to mark his visit.\r\n\r\nThe Colonel Commandant addressed all ranks and announced his vision on the future improvement of Signallers in the Army and ways and means to up lift the standards of the Corps to meet the future challenges. Commanding Officer 4 SLSC presented a memento to Colonel Commandant in order to appreciate his visit .Colonel Commandant had a chat with all ranks while having a tea.\r\n\r\nThe Commanding Officer of 4 SLSC briefed regarding the communication and administration matters related to 4 SLSC and Colonel Commandant has given directions to over come the existing issues. Finally, Colonel Commandant pen his congratulatory note in unit visitors\' book to mark his visit. The eight day visit come to an end with the evening Officers get to gather at 4 SLSC officers mess.
