MAJOR GENERAL LANKA AMARAPALA RWP RSP ndc psc RECEIVES HIS FIFTH INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander, Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, was honoured with the most prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for 2024 at the Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards & Sri Lanka Leadership Awards - 2024 ceremony held on Thursday (5^th) at the Taj Samudra, Colombo.

The ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ recognizes an individual who has performed an outstanding service and accomplishment spanning a career in HR Profession. Major General Lanka Amarapala honoured and recognized by the Word HRD Congress in collaboration with CMO Asia as an exceptional individual deserving of the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’. Additionally, to honour Sri Lanka Army and Major General Amarapala, he was invited to be the ‘Guest of Honour’ at the awarding ceremony by the World HRD Congress. During the event, he had the privilege of presenting awards to exceptional individuals and leading figures from various Sri Lankan companies, including the ‘HR Oriented CEO Award’ to Veteran Banker Russel Fonseka, the CEO of Bank of Ceylon.

This fifth international award not only brings honour to the motherland and Sri Lanka Army but also serves as a testament to Major General Lanka Amarapala’s continuing effort in field of HR, his exceptional leadership, and his commitment to excellence.
