Major General WMPM Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu, General Officer Commanding of the 57 (15) Infantry Division, paid an official visit to the 143 (153) Infantry Brigade Headquarters in Puttalam on 20 August 2024. The Commander of the 143 Infantry Brigade warmly welcomed the GOC and the visiting senior officers.
Following the reception, the Brigade Commander conducted a comprehensive briefing on the deployment and operational readiness of the 143 (153) Infantry Brigade. This was followed by discussions on security and administrative issues related to the Brigade and its Battalions.
