DISTINGUISHED LECTURE ON MILITARY STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP BY THE COMMANDER OF THE SECURITY FORCES WEST

The 61 Infantry Division prominently hosted a distinguished Diners' Club event on 28 May 2024 at the Banquet Hall of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry in Boossa. The event featured Major General SWM Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, The Commander of Security Forces (West), as the Guest Speaker. He delivered an insightful lecture on 'Military Strategic Leadership Through Professionalism and Intellectualism.' The event, organized under the direction of Major General KHMS Wikramaratne RSP, the General Officer Commanding the 61 Infantry Division, emphasized enhancing officers' knowledge and confidence despite their demanding duties. The event was attended by 77 Officers, including the Deputy General Officer Commanding the 61 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, and other senior and junior officers, underscoring the event's significance and impact.
