Due to adverse weather conditions, including heavy rains and strong winds, a tamarind tree fell in the Radawadunna area (Pasyala) on 23 May 2024. According to information from the Disaster Management Center in Gampaha, troops from Sector 14 (Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment) cleared all the debris under the supervision of the Brigade Commander of the 141 Infantry Brigade.
