The training program was organized by 61 Infantry Division 2 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry lecture hall on 8 May 2024. Specialist Psychiatrist Brigadier RMM Monaragala USP, along with Consultant Clinical Psychology Lieutenant Colonel UG Mallawarachchai RSP USP and Psychologist Major DDRT Karunasena from the Sri Lanka Army Directorate of Preventive Medicine and Mental Health, led the sessions.
The lectures covered various topics including solving economic issues, maintaining a healthy family life, stress management, and combating drug addiction. A total of 8 Officers and 160 Other Rankers participated, representing the Infantry Brigades and Under Command Battalions of 14 Infantry.
