DONATION PROGRAM FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

Donation of stationery, sports items and toys for school children took place at various locations, including Wadurassa, Ponhilawa, Kandubadagama, Weeragolla, Dekadawala, Katugampola, and Ma Eliya South areas within the Polpithigama Divisional Secretary on 29 December 2023.

This program was coordinated by the 1 Battalion of Sri Lanka National Guard troops, sponsored by Hemas Foundations (PVT) Ltd and guided by several key figures General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division Major General KAWNH Bandaranayake USP, Commander 143 Infantry Brigade Brigadier TMF Kitchilan RWP RSP and Former Sri Lankan cricketer Mr Roshan Mahanama also participated for the event.This effort was supervised by Major KASP Kumara RSP, the Commanding Officer of 1 Battalion of Sri Lanka National Guard.
