COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES (WEST) UNDERTAKES A FIELD VISIT TO BATTALION TRAINING SCHOOL - PANALUWA

Major General W H K S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu Commander Security Forces (West), made a field visit to Battalion Training School Panaluwa on 12 December 2023, to witness the ground level updates of the newly established Battalion Training School of Security Forces (West).

During his visit, he paid close attention to several key factors that would impact the success of the deployment of the Battalion Training School. Specifically, he was keenly interested in the existing structures and facilities at the location, including the training grounds, administrative buildings, and accommodation facilities. He also evaluated the accessibility and security of the area.

In addition, he also passed down the necessary instructions to the responsible officers on the continuation of the constructions of the Battalion Training School. Further, he emphasized the importance of effective coordination and cooperation between ground troops and different branches of the Security Forces (West) during the process.

Brigadier General Staff and Brigadier Admin & Quartering of Security Forces Headquarters (West), Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Engineers of Divisional Secretary of Homagama and Senior Officers accompanied the West Commander during the day's visit.
