SLMA CADETS IN CONVERSATION WITH THE COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCES (WEST)

On 21 November 2023, a cross section of the passing out Officer Cadets of Sri Lanka Military Academy including from intake 92, 92 B, SC 20 got an opportunity to interview the Commander Security Forces (West), Major General W H K S Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu at the Security Forces Headquarters premises Panagoda in pursue of collecting first hand data for an ongoing research on “Enhancing United Nations Peace Keeping Capabilities of Sri Lanka Army”, which will be pinnacled on the day prior to the Commissioning Parade in December 2023 as the Officer Cadets’ final research presentation. The interactive session with the Commander Security Forces (West) provided the research team with deep insights to the said topic in broader perspectives.

Brigadier General Staff Brigadier K T P De Silva RSP ndu psc, Brigadier Admin Quartering Brigadier A M R Abeysinghe, Senior Instructor and one Course Officer from Sri Lanka Military Academy were present on that occasion in guiding them through the process of researching to explore the subject.
