144 BRIGADE TROOPS ORGANIZE ANOTHER CHARITY EVENT PARALLEL TO THE 74TH ARMY DAY

In parallel to the 74th Army day, 144 Infantry Brigade troops launched another charity program at the historical Kelaniya Rajamaha Vihara premises on 10 October 2023 under the guidance of the Commander 144 Infantry Brigade and the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 2(V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry.

50 troops belongs to 2(V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry have contributed their utmost assistance to clean up the surrounding of the Kelaniya Rajamaha Vihara premises. During the programme, troops collected all pollutants, plastic bottles, polythene bags, plastic-waste, and garbage, much of those that had been left behind by pilgrims and devotees visiting the temple.
