61 Infantry Division troops continued their emergency flood relief operations in Matara District. Meanwhile, they conducted medical campaigns with the assistance of 02 x 101 SLAMC medical team for 350 affected families in Wellethota GN Division in Uduwa, Kottawatta, 400 families in Galbada GN Division, and 270 families in Aththudawa GN Division respectively.
The General Officer Commanding 61 Infantry Division Major General RAJN Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc, visited the Medical camps and witnessed the medical assistance provided for the flood affected people in Matara District.
