West troops supported the Blood Donation Campaign, which was held at Piliyandala Mampe Sri Vijaya Wardhanarama Purana Maha Viharaya on 11 March 2023, in conjunction with the sixth Virtues Remembrance Programme of Most Venerable Valmille Sri Somanandabhidhana Thero.
Army personnel from 142 Infantry Brigade and 7 Battalion Gemunu Watch voluntarily participated in this noble project under the instruction of the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division and Commander 142 Infantry Brigade, with the blessing of the Commander Security Forces (West).
