WEST TROOPS PARTICIPATED IN A BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN

Troops of 15 Drone Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, 7 Battalion Gemunu Watch, 14 Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and soldiers serving under Sector 3 of 142 Infantry Brigade of Security Forces (West) donated their blood during a blood donation campaign, Organized by the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress, together with the Central Blood Bank Narahenpita, on 18 December 2022.

Aforesaid, the blood donation programme has been organized in line with the 103 anniversary of the All Buddhist Congress at the Central Blood Bank - Narahenpita.

Under the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West) and with the supervision of the Commander, 142 Infantry Brigade, Army personnel willingly participated in this blood donation programme. Moreover, Organizers and several others have commended the Army’s contribution towards such noble activities.
