NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER 141 INFANTRY BRIGADE MADE AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO 6 FIELD REGIMENT SRI LANKA ARTILLERY

After assuming duties as the new Commander of 141 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier L G B Kariyawasam RWP RSP USP, made his first official visit to 6 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, located at Wathupitiwala, on 22 November 2022.

Lt Colonel A H M T Gunaratne RSP psc the Commanding Officer of the 6 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, greeted the visiting Brigade Commander with a guard turnout at the camp compound.

Subsequently, addressing the troops, Brigade Commander emphasized several key factors, including his vision. Thereafter, he inspected several key places in the camp premises.

Apart from the camp visit, the Brigade Commander also witnessed several locations for the proposed deployment within the Brigade AOR.

Senior officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the day’s event.
