At the second stage of Jasmine planting, Army personnel of 6 Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery under 141 Brigade assisted to plant 1000 Jasmine saplings inside Dathukanda Sri Jinendrarama Raja Maha Viharaya in Kalalpitiya upon the request made by the Chief Incumbent thero on 31 October 2022.
The project was launched under the instructions of the Commander 141 Infantry Brigade with the blessings of the General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division and the Commander Security Forces (West).
Further, the project has been closely supervised by the Commanding Officer of 6 Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery and saplings had been provided by the monks of the temple.
