Due to the rapid transmission of dengue fever in the Western Province, several dengue prevention programmes have been conducted in order to prevent the spread of dengue mosquitoes in the Western Province.
Accordingly, the scheduled programme was conducted to clean the playground of D S Senanayaka College premises – Borella on 20 August 2022 with the participation of Army personnel.
As per the instructions of the Commander of 142 Infantry Brigade, Army personnel of 142 Infantry Brigade enthusiastically participated in this timely important programme.
