WEST TROOPS ORGANIZED ANOTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMME

In line with continuous sponsorship rendered by Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation (Sri Lanka) and the Tan Ngak Buay & Kee Meng Lang Foundation Limited (Singapore) together with troops of 144 Infantry Brigade and 2 (V) Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry of 14 Infantry Division under Security Forces (West) coordinated another humanitarian event of providing 500 packs of dry ration among low-income families who are currently residing at Mulleriyawa South, Dodangahahena, Madinnagoda and Elhena GS Divisions.

The necessary arrangements for the programme have been coordinated by Army personnel of 144 Infantry Brigade and 2 (V) Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry under the guidance of Commander 144 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier K M V Kodituwakku.

This programme was held on 06 August 2022 at Madinnagoda Suramyaramya Temple - Kollonnawa under the patronage of the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division, Brigadier J M R N K Jayamanna RWP with the participation of Ven Talagala Sumanaratana Nayake Thero of Talagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation, Commander 144 Infantry Brigade, Army Personnel of 2 (V) Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry and several Government authorities.
