In Parallel to the Poson full moon Poya day, the troops of 6th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery under 141 Infantry Brigade of Security Forces (West) launched a 'kos dansela' in order to distribute parcel of Jackfruit to the general public who are living around Panagoda and Habarakada areas.
In addition to that, in the evening, in line with the said programme the troops of 6th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery offered cooked food (Jackfruit ) to the general public who are waiting at the long queues near the fuel stations in Athurugiriya area.
This charitable programme has been conducted on the direction of the commander 141 Infantry Brigade and the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 6th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery.
