With the supervision of the Commander Security Forces (West), Major General K Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, commenced a one-day workshop covering some salient aspects regarding the role and task of the Directorate of ABF (Army Benevolent Fund) on 05 April 2022 at the Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps – Army cantonment Panagoda.
Specially, this workshop has been designed to educate the beneficiaries, subject Officers and subject clerks of the respective headquarters on the services and benefits they can receive from the ABF.
The programme was conducted by the Staff Officer 1, Dte of ABF Lt col R M Balasooriya USP and the audience is consisted with 58 Officers and 88 Other Ranks. Furthermore, this workshop was conducted adhering to the health guidelines against COVID - 19.
