Another community project was launched on 15 February 2022 by the 14 Infantry Division with the objective of expanding civil-military cooperation in accordance with the "Army Way Forward Strategy 2020-2025". The project was sponsored by the Sri Lanka Forum of the United States of America to distribute stock of medical accessories to the Apeksha Hospital Maharagama.
The stock has been consisted with Disposable KN 95 Masks, Disposable Surgical Masks, Disposable Gowns, Disposable Medical Pail Wipes, Disposable Cleanroom Wipes (Serviette White), Disposable Gloves, Plastic Buckets and Face shields etc.
The General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division Major General A K G K U Gnanarathne ndu psc, Commander of 142 Infantry Brigade Brig H V A Somaweera RWP RSP USP, Col AQ and Civil Affairs Officer of 14 Infantry Division, several senior officers and Other Ranks of 14 Infantry Division, and a few members of the medical staff of Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama attended the function.
