On the direction of the Commander Security Force(West) Major General D G S Senarathyapa RWP RSP ndu and the guidance of General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division Major General A K G K U Gnanarathne ndu psc and the close supervision of the Commander 144 Infantry Brigade Col K M V Kodituwakku, the foundation stone was laid at the auspicious time to the proposed house to be construed for a low income family of Mr Welgamage Sudarshana Prabath who is having four children in Mulleriyawa North GN Division on 21 October 2021.The proposed house will be constructed by12 GR and 2(V) SLLI troops.
The Commander of 144 Infantry Brigade Colonel K M V Kodituwakku participated as the Chief Guest of this ceremony.Civil Affairs Officer of 144 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer of 12 Gajaba Regiment, Commanding Officer of 2(V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, financial sponsors, the representors of Peoples’ bank Head Office, the manager of the Peoples’ bank Kotikawatta branch Mr and Mrs Jayasuriya attended for the foundation stone laying ceremony. The project was initiated by 144 Infantry Brigade.
