COMMANDER SF (WEST) HOSTS A DISCUSSION ON 44TH (CISM) WORLD MILITARY PARACHUTING CHAMPIONSHIP

Sri Lanka held its second preparatory meeting prior to the 44th World Military Parachuting Championship - 2021, which is scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar from 17 to 30 November 2021 at the conference hall of the Security Force headquarters (West) on 10th August 2021.

The meeting was headed by the Chairman of the parachute committee of Sri Lanka Army and the Commander Security Force (West) Major General D G S Senarathyapa RWP RSP ndu. At the outset of the meeting Comd SF (West) welcomed the all the members of the parachute committee of tri forces. During the meeting the Comd SF (West) discussed the salient points pertaining to the tournament including the selection criteria of the parachutists from the tri forces and the importance of early preparation to be succeeded at any event.

Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army parachute committee Col S P Wickramasekara RWP RSP USP psc , the Chairman of the parachute committee of Sri Lanka Navy Capt (SBS) W C Wijesiri , the secretary of the parachute committee of Sri Lanka Navy Cdre (SBS) D H A Herath, the Chairman of the parachute committee of Sri Lanka Air Force Air Cdre C Wickramarathne and secretary of the parachute committee of Sri Lanka Air Force Wg Cdr R M S N Ritigala participated at the discussion.
