District 306/C/01 Lions Club and Colombo Fort Lions Club joined hands with SF - West and donated a stock of medical equipment to the ABH - Panagoda backing up the effort of controlling the spreading of COVID-19 on Friday(27) at the Security Force West premises.
Lion Mahinda Perera of District 306/C/01 Lions Club and the members of Colombo Fort Lions Club donated Special Hospital beds ,Mattresses, Wheel chairs, Walkers, Hand Crutches, Doctor chairs, Exercise Machines and Face Masks worth of 2.5 million rupees. A stock of dry rations were also donated which is to be distributed among needy people in SFHQ (West ) AOR.
The donation was officially received by Major General H J Seneviratna RWP RSP ndu Commander SF (West) with the participation of Brigadier General Staff of SFHQ (West ) Brigadier Uditha Bandara and Brigadier Admin &Quartering of SFHQ (West ) Brigadier Mahesh Abeyratne. The event was coordinated by Colonel Nalinda Mahavithana Chief Coordinator Civil Affairs - SFHQ (West ).
