With the direction of the Commander, Security Forces West Major General Mahinda Mudalige a Blood Donation Campaign was held at the Boodhi Rajaramaya - Panagoda on 3 January 2020, in par with the celebrations of 7th Anniversary of SFHQ (West).
The event was Organized by Staff of SFHQ (West) together with National Blood Bank and the event was graced by the Comd SF-West in a simple ceremony. Over 400 Army Personnel Serving under SF - West volunteered to Donate Blood.
Brigadier General Staff Brigadier Uditha Bandara, Brigadier Administration and Quartering Brigadier Mahesh Abeyrathne along with Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks performing duties at the Headquarters Security Force (West) too attended the programme.
