58 DIV FACILITATES TO CONDUCT EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR FOR VISUALLY-IMPAIRED O/L CANDIDATES
Intending to give a helping hand to the Visually-Impaired candidates sitting the forthcoming GCE Ordinary Level Examination in December, the 58 Division Headquarters of Security Forces (West) facilitated to conduct a Seminar for Mathematics on 19 & 20 July 2019 at the Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Training School in Bossa.
With the guidance of Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake - Commander of the Army and with the close supervision of Major General Mahinda Mudalige - Commander Security Forces (West), Major General Jayantha Gunaratne - General Officer Commanding 58 Division, facilities were provided for the candidates came from the different parts of the Sothern Educational Divisions to stay overnight and attend the sessions.
Galle branch of Sri Lanka Federation of Visually Handy Capped Children organized the seminar and 17 visually-impaired O/L candidates attended the programme.
