Major General Sathyappriya Liyanage, Overall Operations Commander (Western Province and Puttalam District) and the Commander – SFHQ (West), visited Kuliyapaityia area on 13th May 2019.
He met religious leaders, community leaders and exchanged views. He also met Security Force and Police officials where he gave required instructions.
The OOC also visited all the areas where mobs took place in the North Western Province, Gampaha District and immediately gave directions to ground commanders to control the tense situations.
