THE NATIONAL PLEDGE “BAKMAHA DIVURUMA” HELD IN SFHQ (WEST)

Coinciding with the national drug prevention programme titled “Mathin Nidahas Ratak”,All Staff of Security Force (West)were taken “Bakmaha Divuruma” on 03 (Wednesday) April 2019 at the SF HQ (West) premises for a drug free country under the supervision of Major General Sathyappriya Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces (West).

The event commenced with hoisting of National Flag and reciting the National Anthem. The Oath in the month of Bak vowing to the commitment for eradication of illegal drugs was read out together with all staff by Maj DSS Ladduwahetti RSP GW – SO 2 (A) SFHQ (West). Later on, the theme song of eradication of Drug Menace was listened by all gathered. Then, the Brigadier General Staff of SFHQ (West) Brig DMUG Bandara RWP RSP USP made a short speech and highlighted the importance of the programme.
