DG INFANTRY VISITS KATUKELIYAWA BATTALION TRAINING SCHOOL
Major General DC Keppetiwalana RSP ndu psc The Director General Infantry visited the Battalion Training School ,Katukeliyawa on 17 September 2018.
Director General was received by Brigadier J Thanthiriwatta RWP Brigadier General Staff SF HQ (West) and Colonel PMRHSK Herath RSP the Commander 583 Brigade. During the visit, Brigadier General Staff SF HQ (West) briefed conducted training courses and the constructions of the training school .
Afterward the visiting Director General emphasized the importance of continuing Battalion Training sessions as a collective module since it is the only opportunity awarded to All Ranks to exercise their combat efficiency, battle readiness, cohesiveness and further improvement of the effectiveness of Infantry Battalion in order to be prepared for any future challenges.
