APPRICIATION OF VESAK ZONE BY SFHQ (WEST)

To appreciate the hard work done by the troops of Regimental Centres and Units in displaying lanterns in the SF (West) Vesak Zone, SFHQ (West) organized a prized awarding ceremony on 08 June 2018 with the guidance of Maj Gen S D T Liyanage WWV RWP ndc psc.

The prizes were awarded by Brig J Thanthiriwatta RWP - Brigadier General Staff - SFHQ(West). The prize winners were as follows:
1st Place – RHQ SLAGSC (Sasa Jathakaya)
2nd Place – RHQ SLSC (Chulla Hansa Jathakaya)
3rd Place – 1SLAOC ( Seri Wanija Jathakaya)
Consolation prizes were also give away for RHQ SLA, RHQ SLE, RHQ SLLI, RHQ CES, RHQ SLASC and 1 SLEME.
