A TWO STORIED BUILDING FOR PROVOST DETACHMENT ATSECURITY FORCE - WEST
Major General SudanthaRansinghe, Commander Security Forces–West declared open the newly constructed two storied building at the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police(SLCMP) detachment at SFHQ-West premises today Friday(22).
He was invited to unveil a symbolic plaque and warm the new building complex amid chanting of Seth Pirith by members of MahaSanga.
Troops of 1st Engineer Services Regiment andserving troops at Army Cantonment Panagodawere behind the successful completion of the project .The project was completed within a short period by expending 8millionsfrom the Army Capital Vote.
Towards the end of the ceremony Major General SudanthaRansinghe extended his gratitude to all who were behind for the successful completion of the project and left his signature in the Visitors’ Book.
Brigadier GKGD Sirisena Provost Marshal of the Army, Colonel ASP Podiralahami SLCMP Centre Commandant,Senior Officers,Junior Officersand a large number of Other Ranks were present the occasion.
