RELIEF TROOPS WERE GIVEN ON THE SPOT DIRECTION BY COMMANDER SECURITY FORCE WEST AT PAHIYANGALA
Commander Security Force West supervised relief efforts being conducted by the troops of 1 Armored Regiment, 12th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 8th Battalion The Gemunu Watch and 9th Battalion The Gemunu Watch at Pahiyangala, Athwelthota and Tibbottawa areas in Kalutara District on Wednesday (31).\r\nDuring the visit he observed the current situation and exchanged views with victimize people. He gave the instructions to Ground Commanders on further implementation of disaster, relief and rescue operations and humanitarian assistance effectively to victimize population in the area according to their request.
