Army Mini Tatoo & Food Festival Inaugurated in Galle
5 day long (27-31 December) Mini Tattoo organized by Sri Lanka Army in parallel with \'Galu Mela\' grand carnival - 2015 was declared open by Dr. Hemakumara Nanayakkara, Governor of Southern Province as the Chief Guest on Sunday (27) evening at the Galle Soccer Ground.
\'Galu Mela\' grand carnival - 2015 initiated by the Governor\'s Office of the Southern Province and the Southern Provincial Council.
In the meantime, food festival organized by the troops of 58 Division under the supervision and guidance of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) was open to the public at the nearby Court Complex, Galle.
Traditional foods prepared by peoples of different areas including Jaffna, Colombo, Mannar, Anuradhapura, Kandy and Matara area on display at the food festival.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-West together with several Army senior officers including General Officer Commanding, 58 Division also attended the both event
