\r\nTroops of the Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) launched programmes for \"Epidemic Prevention\" in their respective areas of responsibility in parallel with the National Dengue Prevention Programme which is underway until 14 November.\r\n\r\nThe arrangement was conducted on the instructions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-West.\r\n\r\nA total of 204 troops serving the SFHQ-West participated in projects in Colombo and Kalutara Districts.\r\n\r\nSeveral medical officers, together with District Medical Officers and Police officers attended the programmes.\r\n
