SFHQ-West Troops Undertake New Project for Communal Harmony
The construction team of 4 Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) commenced the reconstructions of Achchigewatta Playgrounds at Moragolla in Beruwala on Wednesday (24), at the request of the local authorities.\r\n\r\nThe project was undertaken as a means to promote ethnic harmony and coexistence on a direction given by Major General U.A.B Medawela, Commander, Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West). \r\n\r\nThis playground will be further improved and expanded to play games such as softball cricket and soccer with modern facilities.\r\n\r\nThe blessings and support from government authorities, well-wishers and hoteliers were given for the efforts of the troops.\r\n
