A WORKSHOP ON LEADERSHIP & MOTIVATION FOR STUDENTS BY THE ARMY

In response to a request made by the Mahanayaka Thero of Daladawatta Purana Maha Viharaya, Wadduwa, Security Forces Headquarters (West) contributed their assistance to conduct a workshop on ‘Leadership’ for school students on 12 September 2022 at Daladawatta Purana Maha Viharaya-Waddauwa.

The workshop was led by the Commanding Officer of 12 Field Engineers Lieutenant Colonel K A N P K Kodithuwakku psc SLE. Around 30 students and teachers from Wadduwa Central College, Wadduwa Girls School, Wadduwa St. Mary's College, Weragama Junior College, and Pinwathta Junior College attended the workshop.

During this workshop, students were educated on how to behave in the society as well-mannered students, the way to become a respectable person in the society, importance of respecting each other and the value of teamwork, etc.
