The 58th Esala Maha Perahera of the Sapugoda Ilamgamgoda Purana Rajamaha Viharaya - Kamburupitiya is scheduled to be held until 17 August 2022 at 613 Infantry Brigade AOR under 61 Infantry Division of Security Forces (West).
Subsequently, before the temple began its annual event, it was painted and renovated including chethiya and buildings by Army personnel of the 613 Infantry Brigade from 04 to 10 August 2022 under the guidance of the Commander 613 Infantry Brigade, Colonel K V I L Jayaveera USP in order to carry out the procession successfully.
