WEST TROOPS SUPPORT TO CONDUCT A SCHOOL ANNUAL SPORT MEET

Army personnel from 7 Battalion Gemunu Watch and 14 Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, both under the 142 Infantry Brigade of 14 Infantry Division of Security Forces (West), recently extended their assistance by providing referees for the annual Inter - House Sport Meet of Boralesgamuwa Maha Vidyalaya on 22 - 23 March 2023.

As per the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West) as well as the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division, the Army offered their well-experienced Army referees to successfully conduct the annual Sport Meet upon the request made by the school authorities.

The Commander, 142 Infantry Brigade and respective Commanding Officers closely monitored the Army's involvement.
