With the intention of invoking merits on fallen War Heroes and blessings on disabled soldiers, serving Army personnel and their family members, a Dharmadeshana programme was conducted at the Bodhirajaramaya Army temple, Panagoda on 11 January 2023.
This religious programme had been organized on the Direction of Lieutenant General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army and the close supervision of Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP the Commander, Security Forces (West) and the president of the Sri Lanka Army Buddhist Association.
Similarly, necessary arrangement for this charitable event were properly arranged at the temple premises by Security Forces Headquarters (West) and Army Buddhist Association together with Regiments and Battalions located within the Army cantonment Panagoda.
The Founder and the chief patron of Ama Dora Viwara Viya Sadhaham Foundation under Seelasamahitha Aranya Senasanaya Seelagama - Belihuloya - Balangoda, Venerable Balangoda Radha Thero conducted the sermon for the troops and invoked merits on the fallen War Heroes who made supreme sacrifice for the motherland. Further the soldiers and their families were also blessed for their future endeavours.
Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP the Commander Security Forces (West) together with many senior officers, officers, other ranks and residents in the area participated in the day’s religious programme.
