WEST TROOPS LAUNCH A 'SHRAMADANA' CAMPAIGN

Troops of 14 (v) Battalion Gemunu Watch of 613 Infantry Brigade serving under the Security Forces (West) carried out a ‘Shramadana’ campaign in order to clean the surrounding of G/Akmeemana Maha Vidyalaya - Ganegoda in Galle District on 20 December 2022.

The ‘Shramadana’ campaign has been launched under the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West) with the close supervision of the Commander of the 613 Infantry Brigade along with the Commanding Officer of 14 (v) Battalion Gemunu Watch.

School children, teachers and parents also actively participated in the event.
