A blood donation programme which is annually organized to mark Ven Homagama Seelawansha Thero’s birthday,has been voluntarily assisted donating blood by a considerable gathering of Army personnel serving in the Army Cantonment - Panagoda on 11 September 2022.
The aforesaid blood donation programme was organized by Old Pitipana Temple with the coordination of the central Blood Bank- Narahenpita. As per the instructions given by the Commander Security Forces (West), around 60 Army personnel from the Army Cantonment - Panagoda donated blood for this charitable event with great enthusiasm.
