A collective effort of Green Agriculture Operation Centre, Security Forces Headquarters (West), Divisional Secretariats and Fonterra Brands Lanka Company Ltd, have donated milk powder packets to low-income families residing in Colombo District during the last few days.
Accordingly, in parallel to the same donation programme, 141 Infantry Brigade also coordinated another donation programme for 114 low-income families living within Divisional Secretariat – Kelaniya in Gampaha District on 22 December 2022 at various locations.
Those distribution events were carried out under the direction of the Security Forces Headquarters (West) with the close supervision of 141 Infantry Brigade along with the respective Commanding Officers.
Further, through this programme, 228 milk powder packets have been distributed, including two packets per family.
