The patronage extended by Lieutenant General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army enabled the Security Force Headquarters - West to give away gift packs, each worth more than Rs 2000.00, inclusive of school equipment and essential items to 50 students studying at Pitipana Primary School in Homagama on 05 December 2023 at the school premises.
Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP, Commander, Security Forces (West) guided the project with the support and close supervision of Brigadier K R P Jayasinghe RWP RSP USP , Commander, 142 Infantry Brigade and Lieutenant Colonel W.A.S.M Wijayalath, Commanding Officer of 15 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment who coordinated the organizational aspect with his troops.
The Commander of Security Forces (West) graced the simple ceremony as the Chief Guest with several Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, the Principal and members of the tutorial staff.
