Upon the request made by York International School - Kadawatha, a contingent of Army personnel consisted with two officers and 28 Other Ranks from 6 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery under command to 141 Infantry Brigade of Security Forces (West) donated their blood during a blood donation campaign, Organized by York International School together with the Central Blood Bank Narahenpita on 22 January 2023 at the school premises.
Under the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West) and with the supervision of the Commander 141 Infantry Brigade, Army personnel willingly participated in this blood donation programme.
Moreover, organizers and the public who participated at the event highly appreciated the Army’s contribution towards such noble activities.
