In conjunction with the 75th Independence Day, Karagampitiya Sri Medankara Temple had organized arrangements with the intention of commemorating and merit-making the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the motherland during the humanitarian operation and praying for blessings of the Sri Lankans on the evening of 04 February 2023 with the participation of 74 monks.
Accordingly, around 30 Army personnel from 142 Infantry Brigade of Security Forces (West) also contributed to this charity event by giving assistance to make this event a success.
As per the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West), Commander 142 Infantry Brigade closely supervised the Army's contribution.
