Troops of 8 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry under 141 Infantry Brigade of Security Forces (West) assisted in clearing an uprooted tree that had fallen onto Jaa-ela - Minuwangoda Road due to heavy rain that disrupted traffic on the main road.
On the instruction of the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division and under the close supervision of the Commander 141 Infantry Brigade, one Officer and 10 Other Ranks actively contributed their assistance in clearing the tree from the road.
