By planting 500 Jasmine plants, the first phase of the project of planting 1000 Jasmine plants got underway at Kalalpitiya Dhathukanda Sri Jinendrarama Raja Maha Viharaya premises by the troops of 6 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 18 October 2022.
This project was launched on the guidance of Nawagamuwe Vijithasara thero, Chief Incumbent at Kalalpitiya Dhathukanda Sri Jinendrarama Raja Maha Viharaya and under the direction of the Commander 141 Infantry Brigade with the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 6 Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery.
The Chief Incumbent thero, other theros, the Commanding Officer of 6 Field Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Officers and Other Ranks participated at the event.
