In coincide with international children’s day - 2022, 'Viru Kekulu' Pre-school at Panagoda organized a special programme at the Pre-school premises on 30 September 2022.
All the necessities for this programme were properly arranged by the pre - school staff in collaboration with the Army Seva Vanitha Unit. The event was conducted under the patronage of the senior member in charge of the 'Viru Kekulu' pre-school Panagoda, Mrs. Himali Pussella, spouse of Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP, the Commander Security Forces (West).
Upon the arrival of Mrs. Himali Pussella, she was welcomed by a pre-school daughter offering a traditional sheaf of betel along with members of the administrative and teaching staff. Thereafter, she has witnessed a variety of colorful events presented by pre-school children, such as shape games, obstacle races, balancing games, collecting toffees, netball games, and drill display.
Marking the end of the day's programme, Mrs. Himali Pussella participated in a gift distribution ceremony for the pre-school children and before departure from the pre-school she has visited the classrooms and shared some thoughts with the pre-school teachers and children.
Further, addressing the occasion, Mrs. Himali Pussella, extends her heartiest gratitude to the president of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, and in charge of the 'Viru Kekulu' pre-school – Panagoda and her staff for arranging such wonderful events. She also expressed her best wishes to the children and staff of the pre-school and parents for their future endeavours.
The event was attended by pre-school staff, teachers, members of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit and parents.
